Our church is VERY MUCH ALIVE AND ACTIVE!

We are holding an indoor service in our Sanctuary at 8:30 am and 11 am, following strict safety guidelines.

You can also view a live stream of both services as well as a recording of our  worship services, posted around 12:30 pm on our

Sermons Page.

Our Sunday School classes have resumed during our normal "Sunday School Hour" at 9:45 am, between our worship services!  Visit our Sunday School page for more information on classes.

Don't miss Rev. Rich's mini-blog called, Rev. Rich's Rittings (available under the "Resources" tab here on ourwebsite)!

You are able to share prayer requests throughout the week through the " Contact Us/Prayer Request" section on our website or by calling the office during normal office hours.

Giving tithe is still available through our website by clicking the "give" button in the top right corner of this page. It is also collected at both of our worship services or you may mail it to 9433 Ten-Ten Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.

We will continue to check on our more senior members via email and phone and meet needs as they arrive. If you know of someone in need of help (grocery trip, pharmacy run, etc), please call or email us to make us aware!

If you have any further questions, please feel free to call the church office at 919-772-5294 or contact us through the website.

How we are dealing with COVID-19

With the advent of COVID-19, we had to rethink cleaning in our church facilities. Holland’s United Methodist Church is focused on specialized cleaning protocols, including disinfecting shared surfaces and restrooms. We have hand sanitizing stations at the main entrances and exits of our church facility.

We worship “MAD” (Masked and Distanced). We strongly recommend the use of face coverings within the church facilities and maintaining a 6 ft separation. Face masks are available in the narthex and outside the church office.

Join us Sunday mornings at 8:30 am for our traditional service or 11:00 am for our contemporary service to worship the Lord inside our Sanctuary together!

We still have additional options for worship for those who are uncomfortable
with indoor worship at this time. We will continue to transmit, through your
radio at 89.5 FM, both our 9:00 and 11:00 worship services from the back
parking lot of the church. We also will have both the 8:30 am and 11 am services streaming LIVE from our website, and a recording will be posted on our website around 12:30 pm.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH: Following the Young Disciples Moment, children ages 3 years - 3rd grade are welcome to go into the narthex to meet for Children's Church.
Children ages 3+ must wear a mask during Children's Church.

Our nursery is open for infants through age 3.

What to Expect:

We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes early so that the ushers have time to guide each family unit to their pew.

The services will still require following recommended social distancing guidelines for the safety of our church family. There will be some restrictions and inconveniences, but we will be praising the Lord and sharing our faith together! Listed below are some of the changes to expect at our indoor Sanctuary worship service.

  • Face masks or face coverings will be required. Face masks will be available for those who do not have one.
  • Entry and exit to the sanctuary is ONE-WAY at ALL TIMES.
  • Entry via the narthex
  • Exit through the outside door on the right side of the sanctuary.
  • Entry will only be through the narthex. Ushers will guide congregants for seating; no open seating.
  • Family groups will be allowed to sit together. 6 Foot spacing will be created between family units.
  • Our Sanctuary will only be filled to 50% capacity. Ushers will direct congregants to overflow areas as needed.
  • Ushers will ask each family for their name and best contact information (phone number/email). This information is being collected just in case we come to find out that someone who was present has tested positive for Covid-19. If this happens, we would be able to contact everyone who was present to make them aware (anonymously, of course).
  • Water fountains are not to be used; small water bottles are available if needed.
  • Only the Fellowship Hall restrooms will be open for use and occupancy is limited to the number of stalls.
  • Anyone waiting to use a restroom will need to wait in the Fellowship hall and maintain 6 feet of spacing.
  • Fire doors are closed and are to remain closed. There will be no access to hallways.
  • All ushers will be wearing a mask and gloves.
  • The ushers will open and close doors as needed.
  • Exiting the sanctuary after service will be by pew (one pew at a time) to the outside door to the Fellowship Hall.
  • The Fellowship Hall door will be open to allow for contact-free passage to exit from the Fellowship Hall main doors.
  • Collection baskets will be located to the right and left of the door.
  • A trash can will be located outside the door for the collection of empty water bottles and used communion kits.
We are looking forward to all God has planned for us as we continue to be the church, sharing our faith with each other and the world in these challenging times.

I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."

-Psalm 122:1

Welcome to Holland's United Methodist Church

We at Holland's United Methodist Church invite you to worship with us! No matter where you are at on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

We believe that God loves all of creation, and through Jesus Christ we are brought into fellowship with God. We are a family, proclaiming the love and grace of God, as found in God's Word. All are welcome at Holland's United Methodist Church - those who believe as well as those who are seeking.

At each service we gather for meaningful worship to study God’s word. We reach out with the heart of ministry to care for our neighbors in the name of Christ here and around the world. We have fun and fellowship in a variety of activities ranging from dinners to sporting events. As we work and worship together we find that our faith grows as we enjoy friends old and new.

You will discover many exciting opportunities at Holland's United Methodist Church. Our website is just the introduction to the spirit of our church. We want you to feel at home and comfortable here. We are pleased to welcome you as part of a growing and diverse Christian community.

Please join us for an upcoming worship service. There is a place for you here at Holland's United Methodist Church.
